Tiny Food Campaign
Project: Conceptualized, art-directed, and designed an April Fool’s themed “Tiny Food” marketing campaign for Amazon Restaurants.
Process: With less than $100 of budget for our photoshoot, I sourced a bunch of tiny food from various makers on Etsy and brought my idea to life with the help of my team in a tiny conference room. The campaign encouraged customers to order tiny-sized portions of all their favorite foods. The promotion included free delivery on all orders on April 1st, and received a highly positive response from customers on our social channels.
Role: Creative Direction, Visual Design, Photo Editing.
Team:
Photographer: Gennessey Lai
Hand model: Alyssa Johnson
Copywriter: Fran Somers
The campaign included an Instagram story poll where customers were given the opportunity to vote for their favorite tiny food. Spoiler alert: donuts won! On the last slide, viewers were linked offsite to the Amazon Restaurants storefront where they could apply their promo code for free delivery.
A landing page was created to let customers in on the joke, but to also inform them that the free delivery offer was, in fact, real. Along with a playful take on the usual how-to-order steps, as well as terms and conditions and a link to the storefront.
